We recommend bringing lightweight base layers, a warm mid-layer, and a weatherproof outer layer.  We also recommend: sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, fishing hat, beanie, fishing gloves (not necessary but helpful).

  • You will have the opportunity to catch all five species of Pacific salmon: king, silver, chum, sockeye and pink. Halibut fishing out of Gustavus is exceptional.  Other fish you could potentially catch could consist of: lingcod, rock fish, and yellow eye.

  • Upon arrival in Gustavus, a member of our team will greet you at the airport and transport you to Eagle’s Nest Lodge—just five minutes away. On your departure day, we’ll return you to the airport with your boxes of freshly packed fish, ready for your journey home.
