I spent the first week in September at this lodge for the first time, and it’s my first time to Alaska. My buddy told me about this spot and I had to give it a try, totally worth it. The coolest place I’ve ever fished. They have full meals provided, the rooms are big, and they provide all the gear you need for the day trips fishing.


I came away with some huge halibut. Awesome captain Matt made it fun. I KNOW how to fish, but this guy took it to a new level.

2025: New Ownership Group took over…. Waaay better than before. (It was still great before). New linen sheets. Very comfy beds. Close proximity to national parks (Paula also gives groups personal tours). Fishing was great. I prefer koho over king salmon (tastes better) and their guides are very experienced with catching loads of koho. I was not able to partake in their hunting season this year but I have my reservations already booked for next fall and probably make it out for hunting then.

Incredible experience . Location was beautiful, Lodge was very spacious and comfortable, staff was very accommodating and the fishing was out of this world. I will definitely return with my family next year.
